Papua New Guinea (PNG) is a land filled with rugged terrain and remote villages. Along the Sepik River, winding its way in the Northeastern part of the country, hundreds of thousands of people must travel days in a canoe for life-saving medical care. And in the Southern Gulf Province, the Kapuna hospital is surrounded by rugged and swampy terrain, often preventing access. The reality is stark: those who desperately need attention are left vulnerable.
