Every member of our team plays a crucial role in accomplishing the life-saving work of Samaritan Aviation.
Mark Palm is the CEO and founder of Samaritan Aviation (SA), an organization he started in 2000 with a close friend. In 2010, Mark and his family launched full-time aviation operations in Papua New Guinea (PNG), where they have been serving isolated communities ever since.
From a young age, Mark had two passions—helping people in need and flying airplanes. These passions grew during his time working with his parents at Elm Street Mission in Santa Cruz, California, and serving on mission trips in Mexico.
With a degree in Aviation Technology and a commercial pilot’s certificate, Mark has flown over 1,500 life-saving flights along the Sepik River, offering hope to those who had never seen an airplane before.
Mark, his wife Kirsten, and their three children are honored to be a part of this incredible ministry.
